SUMMARY:Haunted Trail
DESCRIPTION:Ghosts\, ghouls\, and zombies will haunt the trails of Washington Township RecPlex Countryside Park on October 14 & 15\, 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm! On these FREE fun-filled evenings your trail guide will lead you through the scary trails. The hauntings will begin at 7:00 pm. The last group will begin the trail at 8:30 pm with all groups finished by 9:00pm. \n\n\n\nRecommended for ages 8 and above.  This event is rated PG and is not intended for young children due to the gore and scary scenery throughout the Haunted Trail. \n\n\n\nAll minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. \n\n\n\nAttendees are encouraged to bring non-expired canned goods/non-perishable food items to be donated to a local Food Bank. \n\n\n\nThe Haunted Trail program is co-sponsored by the Centerville Noon Optimist Club\, the Washington Township RecPlex; the University of Dayton Optimist Club; the Centerville High School Octagon Club; and the Junior Optimist Clubs at Incarnation School and Magsig\, Tower Heights\, and Watts Middle Schools as well as the Centerville City Schools Tech Theater Program. \n\n\n\nHaunted Trail is made possible because of amazing help from volunteers! \n\n\n\nThank you to the sponsors of this event\, Sam’s Club and Bill’s Donuts! \n\n\n\nRegistration is not required for this FREE event\, however the line may close early to ensure the last group begins no later than 8:30 pm.

DESCRIPTION:The Optimist Visual Arts Competition gives the youth we serve another outlet for their creativity! This exciting program is designed to encourage and celebrate youth visual art skills in painting and drawing. The contest will be held at the Centerville Noon Optimist local level and at the International level. \n\n\n\nThe Theme for 2026 is: “Be Bold – Be The Change.” Students may submit either a painting or a drawing. DESCRIPTION:This is a FREE event. A pass\, shoot and dribble contest will be held for boys and girls ages 7 – 12. All contestants will receive a free cinch sack and 150 basketballs will be given away\, courtesy of Centerville Hustle. DESCRIPTION:Join us at Forest Field Park as the Noon Optimist Club of Centerville\, in combination with the Centerville-Washington Park District\, the Centerville Police Department and Bike Centerville\, would like to promote youth bicycle safety in the community by sponsoring their Free Safety on Wheels Bike Rodeo. \n\n\n\nChildren of all ages are encouraged to attend and bring their bicycles. DESCRIPTION:The annual Tom Frazier Memorial Tee Off for Youth Classic will be: Monday July 13th\, 2026 at Sycamore Creek Country Club in Springboro. Golfers arrive at 10:45am and Tee Time is 12:00pm. \n\n\n\nThe 2026 event will be even bigger and better! We look forward to bringing you this golf outing with the proceeds going to Dayton Children’s Hospital’s Hematology/Oncology Department and other youth programs throughout the year. \n\n\n\nOur many sponsors help make this a highly successful event year after year. More than $200\,000 has been donated to Dayton Children’s in the last fifteen years. Thanks to all who sponsor\, golf\, and volunteer each year for this important fundraiser.
