SUMMARY:Fishing Derby
DESCRIPTION:Want to hook a kid on fishing? Come to the annual fishing derby at the Washington Township Recreation Center. \n\n\n\nThe fishing\, worms and lunch are free so grab your pole\, family and come out and enjoy the day. You’ll see Moms\, Dads and Grandparents smiling as the pictures are taken. Children ages 5-15 (must be accompanied by a responsible adult) are encouraged to participate and try this event. We release approximately 400 lbs of catfish in 2 ponds. \n\n\n\nThree fishing rods will be awarded to each age group. \n\n\n\n\nRegistration starts at 8:00 AM\n\n\n\nPassport to Fishing Workshop starts at 8:15 AM\n\n\n\nFishing starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 12:00 PM\n\n\n\nPrizes awarded at 12:15 PM\n\n\n\n\nLoaner fishing rods will be available. \n\n\n\n\nFishing Derby Event Page

DESCRIPTION:Safetyville Square is a fun and entertaining way for children entering kindergarten through second grade to learn about safety over the summer. Topics include pedestrian\, bicycle\, playground\, fire\, home and life safety. Children get acquainted with school buses\, emergency vehicles and our child sized Safetyville Square. \n\n\n\nThere are 6 4-day sessions spread out across three weeks.
