The Skilled Trades Scholarship requires a Counselor’s recommendation and a desire to pursue a degree in the student’s chosen trade. This scholarship is valid at Sinclair Community College and any post high school approved trade school program.

Skilled trades are defined, but not limited to Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Welding, Cosmetology, Civil Service and many more. This scholarship, provided by The Centerville Noon Optimist Club, will pay up to $1,000.00 per semester for six semesters at Sinclair College or up to $3,500 for a Trade School. Student must maintain a 2.5+GPA.

Applications must be submitted by April 1 of the current school year.

Both the student and the student’s counselor must fill out each of their portions of the application for it to be considered. This form is for the student applying.
