The mission of the St. Leonard Optimist Club is to provide hope and a positive vision for less fortunate families and youth. The St. Leonard Optimist Club is a rapidly growing service organization assisting the Centerville Noon Optimist Club in the South Dayton Community. We are making a difference with the families and youth in our community. We are involved in specific programs that aid and encourage less fortunate citizens to advance the well-being of humankind, community life and the world.
We meet monthly on the third Thursday of the month at 2 pm.
With a small group, we make a major difference in the lives of needy children and families.
Some of our activities include:
- Making blankets for less fortunate kids
- Giving Non-Perishable Canned Goods
- Collecting socks and gloves
- Feeding the hungry in South Dayton
