Join us in Dayton as we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Great Ohio District!
The 4th quarter Ohio District Convention is coming up on August 11th, and 12th and we are celebrating 75 years of the Ohio District! We are planning for an EPIC Convention and Governors Gala to be held at the University of Dayton Arena.
Here are some of the highlights planned for the weekend:
- CELEBRATE 75 years of the Great Ohio District!
- Fun and Games Night in the Hospitality Room, Friday Kentucky Derby Style! Food, Snacks and Beverages provided.
- Special welcome and take-home Gift for All First Timers!
- Hear keynote speaker Tamika Williams-Jeter, head UD Women’s Basketball Coach.
- Meet our JOI (Junior Optimist International) club members who will be with us for the conference.
- A delicious lunch is included in your registration!!!
- Attend a private group tour through the newly renovated UD arena with access to special behind the scenes rooms.
- Help out with a service project led by Nancy Lehren.
- Represent your club in a quick District Board meeting.
- Attend the Saturday evening Governor’s Gala Dinner.
- Entertainment by Felix And Fingers Dueling Pianos.
- Friday excursion planned with First Lady Kelly for all spouses, partners and/or special guests – Carillon Historical Park/Dayton History, Lunch at Carillon Brewing Co., UD Arena Tour, Ice Cream Treat.
