Skilled Trades Scholarship Student Application

The Skilled Trades Scholarship requires a Counselor’s recommendation with an emphasis on financial need and a desire to pursue a degree in the student’s chosen trade. In addition to financial assistance, each student will have two mentors. The scholarship provides up to $1,000.00 per semester for up to six semesters ($6,000 total) at Sinclair Community College, sufficient for an Associate Degree. Or a one-time award of $2,500 to a specific trade school such as, Hobart School of Welding. Applications must be submitted by April 1 of the current school year.

Both the student and the student’s counselor must fill out each of their portions of the application for it to be considered. This form is for the student applying. Click here if you are a counselor filling out your portion of the application.
