Tonight, we heard community updates from three community leaders who are also members of CNO. Mark Metzger, Recreation Director, spoke about the RecPlex. Kristen Marks, Park Director, spoke about the Centerville-Washington Park District. Liz Fultz, Washington-Centerville Library Director, spoke about the library and “The Wall that Heals.”
The goal tonight was to educate members and guests about some of the events that CNO holds and how you can help by volunteering. Various members discussed CNO events.
Those attending paired off and then quickly asked and answered questions to get to know each other better. Every five minutes everyone changed who they were paired with for a total of forty minutes.
A great time was had by all in the VIP Suite tonight at Poelking Lanes. Bowling, including shoes, was donated by Joe Poelking.
Bob McFadyen spoke briefly and then we socialized while watching March Madness games. Later, some people stayed for the Trivia contest at Loose Ends Brewing.
The CNO 2.0 meeting tonight was an evening of socializing with one another. Later in the evening the venue had Karaoke. Brent Richburg and Patrick Arehart sang songs.
