Announcements

  • Emily Duke announced that the annual community Egg Hunt will be held on March 30, 2024, at Oak Grove Park. There will be over 8000 eggs distributed into multiple age group lanes and about 250 kids will pick them all up in about 5 minutes. Volunteers are needed the day of the event from 8:30 to 10:30 AM. sign up using the Member Calendar.
  • Jane Fiehrer announced that the 2024 Visual Arts contest is open. Let young people and parents of young people know about the contest for drawings and paintings. Details are on the website.
  • Mike Bevis announced that the 32nd Tom Frazier Tee Off for Youth Golf Outing will be on July 15, 2024. The committee is looking for your help to find sponsors. Try asking your insurance person or dentist, for example. They also need many volunteers to help on the day of the event.

CNO 2.0 Venue and Details

The venue for tonight’s CNO 2.0 meeting was Heavier than Air Brewing Company.

Brent Richburg said he was so thankful for all the guests and members that came to tonight’s meeting. Brent thanked Nick Tarkany, the owner and CNO member, and his team for the great beer, food and space!

Tonight was an evening of fellowship enjoying the UD Flyers winning the first-round game against Nevada. It was a great comeback win and thrilling to be around so many fans of UD basketball.

President Joan Cordonnier inducted new CNO 2.0 member Amy Creech into the club. Amy is sponsored by Deb Ulrich.

About CNO 2.0

CNO 2.0 is a club within a club of the Centerville Noon Optimist Club. CNO (and CNO 2.0) is a world class service organization. Being a member of either club allows their members all the same opportunities to participate in fundraising and club activities. CNO 2.0 was created about 6 years ago and is very much a part of the 56-year-old Centerville Noon Optimist Club. CNO has given away over $2 million during its history. CNO is a group of like-minded members that are passionate about helping youth and having fun in the process.
