Erin Dickerson’s Prayer
Dear God,
Help us to be more like children. Help us to see the holy in the mundane. To hold the secular and the sacred in the same breath. To let nothing stand between us and You. To know that You are in the helplessness and the hopelessness the same as You are in the faith and the healing. Children understand that prayer and conversation with You need no frills, nothing fancy, but to simply be an expression of our hearts.
Amen.

Centerville-Washington Park District, Kristen Marks
Debe Dockins introduced Kristen Marks, the Director of the Centerville-Washington Park District. Outside of her work with the Parks department, Kristen enjoys spending as much time as possible on adventures outside with her husband and two children.
View Kristen’s slide deck here.
About the Park District
Kristen is passionate about creating a Sense of Place in the parks in Centerville and Washington Township. The Park District includes 51 parks in our community, including 34 neighborhood parks, and their goal is that you are always within a 10-minute walk of a CWPD park. They are also trying to create more programming within the parks of the community – they currently provide around 750 programs annually. Projects for 2022 include Wayfinding at Bill Yeck Park, Grant Park McEwen entrance improvements and playground improvements.
Vision
To become the outdoor recreation destination of choice for the community we serve.
Mission
Deliver fun, healthy, and outstanding park experiences that connect the community with the outdoors.
Thank You
Thank you, Kristen Marks, for educating us about the Centerville-Washington Park District.
