Erin Dickerson’s Prayer
Lord,
“Do not fear” is the most common command in the Bible, yet it is the one we follow the least. We fear for the state of the world. We fear the results of medical tests and doctor visits. We fear for the safety of our children. We forget who You are. Help us to be still and find peace in knowing that you are God.
Amen.

Sign up to volunteer for the event using the Member Calendar. There are two shifts to choose from, 8-10:15 and 10-12:15. They need about 33 volunteers for this event. Kids aged 7-12 will compete in pass, shoot, and dribble contests. You don’t need any basketball skills. Volunteers are needed to help with setup, registration, running the contests, scoring the participants, and handing out trophies. The event is also an opportunity to get to know fellow CNO members. They expect about 100 kids to participate.

There are ten applicants, and 20 mentors are needed.
Planning Meeting for Youth Mental Health Initiative
Andy Higgins announced that the Youth Mental Health Initiative will meet on Wednesday, March 5, at 6 PM. at the Woodbourne Library to develop an action plan based on feedback from local educators.
A small team recently visited elementary and primary schools, hosting light breakfasts for teachers and staff to gather their ideas on engaging parents in the Wait Until 8th pledge. The response was overwhelming, with four pages of valuable suggestions.
We will focus on turning those ideas into actionable steps at this meeting. We need volunteers to help with event logistics, outreach, literature distribution, giveaways for kids, and staffing stations at upcoming events. Teachers expressed deep appreciation for our efforts, emphasizing that both they and the students truly need this initiative.
Join us to help make a difference!
