Joseph Young, an Award-Winning Magician

Bob Burkman’s Prayer

Today’s prayer is given in memory of Phather Phil Robinson.

Heavenly Father, when men and women come together in their walk for a purposeful reason, like our Optimist Club, wonderful things happen.

We may not realize it, but our presence is our gift to others.  Just being here to enjoy the fellowship, to answer the call of those so much younger than ourselves and to bask in the sunshine of our endeavors is certainly your gift to us.

We know you must love it when the people you have gifted are willing to sit down together and share those gifts for the benefit of others.

May we continue to abide by your love and council to make life worthwhile for all the people and kids we meet.

Amen.

Joseph Young Magic

Beth Duncan introduced magician Joseph Young, an Internationally Acclaimed Nine-Time Award-Winning Magician from Big Stone Gap, Virginia who has performed all over the USA.

Some of his career highlights include winning the 2011 International Battle of Magicians and being named the 2004 Houdini Rising Star of Magic.

He has shared his talents throughout the United States for 25 years. Joseph performs over 120 events annually and specializes in shows for corporate, family, school, churches and non-profit organizations.

Beth Duncan hired him to do strolling magic at her party later this afternoon. Since he was already in town and he loves non-profits, Joseph was more than happy to perform for our CNO meeting for no additional fee.

His performance was amazing and very funny. Later that evening, I saw him perform up close and he is incredible at that as well.

Thank You

Thank you, Joseph Young, for making us laugh while fooling us!
