Phather Phil’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, there are times when we clown around, sometimes at very inappropriate times. We are thankful that is not your ways, Lord. Yet! You must have been in a playful mood when you created the platypus. I’m sure You can remember and are still smiling. Now that I have everyone’s attention wondering what is coming next. I just wanted to celebrate “Fathers Day” by honoring You for all the things You do for us. We pray You will continue to show us all the things You want us to do, letting us be Your hands and heart in our quest to make a better life for our kids. Amen!Â

Today’s Speaker
Judy DeMarco introduced our speaker, Brian Fenstemaker, son of member Steve Fenstemaker. Brian is a 2007 CHS grad and a 2011 Naval Academy grad. He is deployed in the Middle East. He spoke briefly about his awards and recognitions. He told us of aircraft he has been trained on and types of weaponry used. He showed photos of in air refueling, talked about flying of an aircraft carrier, an explained the nitty gritty of life on an aircraft carrier. He showed photos of a 7-man stateroom, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, the Suez Canal, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Rome, and skiing in the French Alps. Brian was warmly applauded and thanked for his service to our Country.
