Tri-Star Soccer Needs New Co-Chairs
Stan Fronzaglia announced that Chris McAlpine and Greg Wasmund have stepped down from their co-chair roles for Tri-Star Soccer after several years. The committee is now seeking new co-chairs. Chris and Greg will remain available to assist with the day of the event. They have documented procedures in place. They are ready for others to handle the organization and promotion responsibilities. You don’t need to know anything about soccer to run this fun annual event.
Essay Contest Needs a New Chair
Stan Fronzaglia said that Kristen Marks is looking for a new chair for the Essay Contest. She will stay on for a year to help the new chair learn the role.
Donation Requests Approved at the March 2025 Board Meeting
Stan Fronzaglia announced the donation requests granted at the March 2025 CNO Board meeting. The Board approved $4502 in grants:
- $2002 to Daybreak to assist the homeless
- $500 to CHS Care Team for a Pizza Party
- $2000 to Ohio District Junior Optimists to send members to the St Louis Convention this year.
CNO 2.0 Venue and Details
The venue for tonight’s CNO 2.0 meeting was Heavier than Air Brewing Company.
Stan Fronzaglia welcomed the members that came to tonight’s meeting. Stan thanked Nick Tarkany, the owner, and his team for the great beverages and space. The food was purchased from the Submarine House.
Tonight’s meeting was during March Madness. It was a fun night of getting to know each other while the basketball games were on in the background.

About CNO 2.0
CNO 2.0 is a club within a club of the Centerville Noon Optimist Club. CNO (and CNO 2.0) is a world class service organization. Being a member of either club allows their members all the same opportunities to participate in fundraising and club activities. CNO 2.0 was created in 2017 and is very much a part of the Centerville Noon Optimist Club started in 1968. CNO has given away over $2 million during its history. CNO is a group of like-minded members that are passionate about helping youth and having fun in the process.
