Jack Pohl, a Centerville native and lifelong Bengals fan, spent more than 20 years as Sports Director at WDTN covering everything from Ohio State championships to Bengals playoff runs. He is now at the Channel 2 news desk, continuing a broadcasting career that began at the WCWT radio station at Centerville High School.

Gary Smiga presented the 2025 awards and renewals. This year, the Noon Optimist Club of Centerville honored five first-year winners and four renewals with Memorial Education Assistance Awards. These awards, given in memory of deceased club members, recognize outstanding graduating seniors from Centerville or Washington Township who demonstrate community service, financial need, and submit an essay.
