Noon Meeting News – December 13, 2016 – Television Personality Jim Bucher

Phather Phil’s Prayer

Heavenly Father soon we will share the joy of food, fellowship and faith in celebrating Christmas. You have blessed us with the happy spirit of Optimism. Help us pass on that spirit by letting younger generation know, OH so many things, like love, respect, honesty and generosity. Help us educate them to be happy so when they grow up they will know the value of things, not the price. Most of all, impart to them that the nicest place to be is in someone’s thoughts, the safest place to be is in someone’s prayers and the very best place to be is in the hands of God. Amen!

With Deep Sorrow

Our sincere condolences to the Hamdan Family at the loss of Wes Hamdan, a long time club member , who passed away suddenly on December 8th in Florida.  His memorial service will be held on Monday December 19th at Routsong Funeral Home at 81 North Main Street, Centerville, OH 45459 from 4-8PM.

Today’s Speaker

Scott Langer introduced Jim Bucher, a most entertaining speaker.  He spent 30 years with Channel 2, leaving there nearly 5 years ago. He humorously described the depression that followed. Soon he became spokesperson for Irwin Chrysler, and a new career in social media was launched.  He makes videos for businesses, helping get the word out also through infomercials. His web site is BucherTVguy.com.  He said his main message is to follow your passion. He was roundly applauded.
