The Wall that Heals is a traveling three-quarter size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. It is also a mobile education center and is a program of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (founders of the wall). The exhibit opens on July 27, 2023. Mike Watkins is the Butler County chapter president of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a national organization with local chapters that provides beds for children who do not have access to them. Organizations sponsor Build Days. They provide both the money and the labor and, in just 3-4 hours, they have built as many as 140 beds, with an average of 50-60 beds per Build Day.
