Five years ago, we started our Optimist Community champion recognition. It is the goal of your club and your committee to honor unsung and unrecognized citizens who have gone over and above to make a difference in our community. These community leaders can be from any walks of life. They could be a coach, a neighbor, a mentor, a teacher, a businessperson, a doctor, or even a member of our club.
