Phather Phil’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, guide us in our headlong rush thru life. Grant us the foresight not to get caught up in the stampede of mindless following. Let us control our emotions so we are not following like the running of the Bulls. May we gain the wisdom to know that we are not here to follow the wild ideologies, but to fulfill your purpose for us. In a nutshell have us remember, when following the masses, sometimes the “M” is silent. Amen!

Dave Kay aka Mr. Picky eater, introduced Mark Fisher, food and wine writer for Dayton Daily News. Mark spoke about local restaurants; plentiful pizza places with new ones opening all the time and few closing; the proliferation of the brew pub style restaurants; and the sub style fast food phenomenon. He also told about Carvers Nov 9th special dinner for $350.00 per person. Everyone enjoyed his talk. Mark asks that if anyone hears anything about a restaurant, opening, remodeling, changing or closing please let him know via email or Facebook.
