Dan told us about the path that led him to owning three popular restaurants: Archer’s Tavern in Centerville and Kettering and The Stone House Tavern in Waynesville. Dan credits great customer service for their success. They train their servers to help each other. Someone will greet you within 15-20 seconds of being seated. The goal is to keep customers coming back. If ever there is a problem with food or service, any employee has the authority to make it right without having to go and get approval.

Cindy Gaboury – Audio Etc. (and Club Member)

Cindy and her husband Kirby own Audio Etc at 551 Congress park Dr, Dayton OH 45459. They provide commercial and home A/V, home automation, entertainment systems, and more. They service all areas surrounding Dayton and have customers within a few hours of Centerville including Kentucky and Indiana. They have been in business for 35 years. Their current facility is 17,000 square feet and has several rooms setup as working models of the work they can do for business and consumers.

There are two major types of truck shipments. Full truckload (TL) and less than truckload (LTL). TL Shipments account for 400 billion of the 700 billion shipping business each year. Dayton Freight is in the LTL business. Dayton Freight is a regional carrier in the Midwest with sales of about 60 billion annually. The goal of the company is to be the best regional LTL carrier in the Midwest.

A partner such as a counselor or service agency finds people in need and requests to get the items from HTC. Chappy’s Social House – Matt Somerlot CHS Educator and Track Coach

This is Matt’s 23rd year coaching track. He values that his sport is a no cut sport at CHS and it is very much needed. Some kids need a chance to interact with other kids, some just need a gym credit, others need to meet a kids to have lunch with. In track there is almost always improvement the kids can see as their times get better sometimes day to day. Track kids learn to compete. He finds what the kids are good at. each kid gets to compete at least once a week.

Poelking Lanes Dayton Mall – Joe Poelking

Joe and his cousin run Poelking Lanes. The business was started in the 1940s by his grandfather. World War II caused the lanes to close after a few years because there were not enough workers available to work as pinsetters. The Poelking Lanes on Wilmington Avenue started again in the 1950’s. In November of 2012 the VIP suite at Poelking Lanes South was opened and it is a place to have your own private bowling party.
