Social Night at Zink’s Meats and Fine Wines
CNO 2.0 Venue and Details
The venue for tonight’s CNO 2.0 meeting was Zink’s Meats and Fine Wines at 409 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd, Centerville, Ohio. Thank you to the Zink’s staff, who continue to be outstanding hosts for our gatherings. The food and wines were excellent.
Connie Risch facilitated the meeting. The evening provided a relaxed setting for socializing with fellow members, guests, and hopefully future new members.
Escape Room Social Activity
The next social event will be an Escape Room on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Following the activity, members are invited to continue the evening at Bock Family Brewing. Please sign up using the Member Calendar.
Wine and Bourbon Tasting Social
A Wine and Bourbon Tasting will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the home of Diane and Patrick Arehart. Please sign up using the Member Calendar.
Grants Made
- A $500 grant was approved for a CHS/Cline Elementary Care Team Pizza Party, supporting the final mentorship visit of the year and serving 175 students.
- A $500 grant was approved for LifeCare Alliance, Diabetes Dayton Camp Ko-Man-She, supporting horseback riding activities for 96 Montgomery County children, aligned with participation from Centerville and Washington Township.
- A $1,000 grant was approved for the Normandy PTO Carnival, serving approximately 500 children.
- A $1,500 grant was approved for the Ohio District JOI 2026 International Summit, contingent upon a Centerville or Washington Township JOI member applying to attend.
Happy Birthday Stan Fronzaglia
Tomorrow is Stan Fronzaglia’s 81st birthday!
We sang “Happy Birthday” to Stan and, believe it or not, we sang pretty well. Stan has been part of the Centerville Noon Optimist Club for 26 years and has been a dedicated supporter of CNO 2.0 since its inception eight years ago.
